Short narrative for Ergonomics – Human Factors in Occupational Safety Course

Driving a care safely is a great responsibility. There are many opportunities or situations in which vehicle operators can make errors which can be fatal to the operator or other drivers on the road. Car manufacturers strive to research and implement systems into cars to reduce the frequency of human error which can be causal of injury or loss. You are to provide a short narrative identifying five (5) procedures, applications, apps or design controls which reduce the likelihood of operator error resulting in injury. If possible provide pictures of the procedure, or application and a description of how they reduce the likelihood of human error. For example which you cannot use the brake pedal and gas pedal are of different sizes and shapes which is designed to prevent accidental application of the gas and brake pedals in wrong situations.
