Learning to paraphrase appropriately and distinguish the difference when compared to plagiarism
There are many questions regarding paraphrasing. As you are now writing graduate-level papers, it is important that you understand how to paraphrase correctly.
Please paraphrase the two sample sentences below. Cite the sample sentences properly in APA 6th edition format.
Sample One: “In addition to making sure a quotation is not taken out of context or misused, it is essential to properly give credit to the author of the quote by using an appropriate citation method” (Martinez et al., 2008, p. 84).
Sample Two: “Online learners must dedicate uninterrupted time to their studies because the idea that learning takes concentration has not changed simply because the medium for delivering education has” (Martinez, 2009, p. 3).
