Mary Smith was hired and was to begin work in the Radiology department of St. Francis Hospital on Monday. Much to Mary’s surprise rather than report to the Radiology department she was sent to the hospital auditorium for a hospital wide orientation. The next day Mary reported to the Radiology department where she received yet another orientation; this time to the department. Mary was informed that she would start her 90 day probationary period on Wednesday.
