Does this sentence make sense and use correct grammar?, health and medical assignment help

This is my senentence:

I loved going to physical therapy and watching my progress prosper from completing the therapeutic exercises recommended for me.

Does it make sense? Should I use a different word other than “watching” and should I use “from completing the therapeutic exercises recommended for me” or should I use “by completing the therapeutic excersies recommend for me”

If you have any other suggestions on a way to make this sentence sound better don’t hesitate to re write the same sentence with different wording but same meaning.
