Diet Assessment & Reflection (50pts.)
Part 1: Dietary Assessment
Print out Diet Assessment Forms from Blackboard. You will be analyzing three days’ worth of dietary intake (1 weekend day/ 2 week days) by recording your entire daily food intake on the Dietary Intake Recording form. You may need to print out more than one.
You will then analyze your intake by going to the website:
And then You can go with LoginUsername: abood8844 and the Password: abood8844
You will need to “Create Your Profile” on the left.
Once registered, go to the Food Tracker page and enter all of your food for the three separate days.
Go to “My Reports” and “Nutrients”. Print a report that averages all three days.
Go to “Food Groups & Calories Report”. Print a report that averages all three days.
Part 2: Reflection Paper (Two pages)
Must contain the following information:
*General thoughts about your diet before you analyzed results.
*Were you surprised by the results? Explain.
* List and explain 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses of your dietary results based on the results.
*Will this assessment influence you to change any dietary habits? Why or why not?
Technical Guidelines:Reflection will be typed, double spaced, 12 point font with 1″ margins on all sides of 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper in APA format. Correct spelling and grammar.
ON A SEPARATE COVER SHEET, include name, ID number, and the course number.
Staple reflection together with assessment pages (handwritten and print-outs) and cover sheet.
